Emma Taylor is Artelier’s co-owner and director of colour, with 15 years experience in the industry.

Emma is hugely passionate about education and development both personally and within the team, having recently completed the prestigious Loreal Colour Specialist qualification.

Ensuring all Artelier clients experience hairdressing excellence and a true pampering whilst at the salon is a priority for Emma.

Andrew Deaconos is Artelier’s co-owner and director of cutting and styling.

After beginning his hairdressing career in South Africa, Andrew has now been an integral part of British hairdressing for 15 years, having worked on many amazing photo shoots for well known brands and magazines.

For Andrew, the most important thing is that clients leave Artelier feeling amazing and full of confidence.

I love hairdressing and the opportunities it brings to enable me to be the best version of myself. Since I started my training way back in 2016 I have gained so much more confidence, I have made friends for life within the salon and I have built strong relationships with my clients.

I would honestly say that I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing but cutting and stying is definitely my passion. It is so important to listen carefully and find out as much as you can about your clients lifestyle and needs so you can tailor each service perfectly for them.

I feel like I am still just starting on my hairdressing journey and I can’t wait to share with my clients all the exciting things I have planned for the coming year!

I started working with this amazing team of people way back in 2012 and I now can't imagine being anywhere else.

I genuinely love every part of my job but I would say that I am a long hair lover! I have worked hard over the last few years perfecting my creative lightening and balayage skills and it has now become one of the services I do most of. Extension work is also a huge part of my portfolio, from bonded hair to tapes to wefts, being able to totally transform someone in the space of a few hours is truly amazing.

My family is everything to me and I have been blessed with two beautiful sons who I devote my life to, but hairdressing and Artelier is a huge part of my life that I will always be passionate about.

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Caroline brings exceptional creativity, technical skill, and passion to every appointment. Having spent more than a decade at a high-profile city centre salon, she’s worked alongside an award-winning art team on numerous shows, presentations, and education events, always pushing her craft to the next level.

A two-time finalist in the North West British Hairdressing Awards, Caroline is renowned for her precision cutting and expert colour work, creating bespoke looks that leave every client feeling confident and truly themselves.

As a curly hair specialist, Caroline understands that every curl is unique. She helps clients embrace and love their curls with the right cut, technique, and care advice. You can find Caroline in Artelier every Thursday.

I am a passionate hair stylist with a love for all aspects of the industry from cutting to styling to client care – but my favourite has to be colouring. I am passionate about creating bespoke colour looks whether that be soft, natural tones or bold statement colours. I love working with a client to create the perfect look for them.

One of the things I love most about my job is the social side of it – building genuine relationships with my clients and creating a space where they feel comfortable and well looked after. I genuinely love coming to work every day and being inspired by those around me.

I have currently been attending industry education courses to gain more knowledge about colour and cutting. I love these courses as I always come away from them feeling even more inspired and excited to bring what I’ve learnt back into the salon with me.
