We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from Artelier! Our co-owner and Director of Colour, Emma, has officially begun her 3-year Trichology Level 5 Diploma with the Institute of Trichology.
As many of you already know, Emma is deeply passionate about helping clients achieve not only beautiful colour and style, but also healthy hair. This next step is all about going deeper, exploring the science behind hair and scalp health to bring even more expertise to the salon.
Why Trichology?
Trichology is the scientific study of the hair and scalp. By training in this field, Emma will gain advanced knowledge in:
✅ Understanding hair growth and its cycles
✅ Identifying and managing scalp conditions
✅ Exploring treatment solutions for healthier, stronger hair
This means that, in the future, Emma will be able to support clients not just with stunning colour transformations, but also with tailored advice and treatments designed to care for hair from the root up.
Emma says: “I’m so excited to start this journey! Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp, and I can’t wait to bring everything I learn back to my clients. This diploma is a big commitment, but one I’m incredibly passionate about. Thank you to all my amazing clients and supporters who inspire me every day to keep learning and growing.”
Over the coming years, Emma’s training will allow Artelier to expand its expertise, offering a more holistic approach to haircare. You’ll continue to receive the same exceptional colour and styling services, now with an even stronger foundation in scalp and hair health.
We can’t wait to see all the knowledge and innovation Emma will bring back to the salon as she progresses through her studies.
