Atelier’s Emma and Andrew were thrilled to be asked to be on the panel at the amazing L’Oreal Pro French Balayage ‘Foil It or Paint It’ Tour’s Liverpool event, held on the 13th May 2024 in the beautiful Titanic Hotel.
The evening saw the fabulous Harriet Stokes (@harriet_stokes) and Jack Howard (@jackhowardcolor) team up to bring guests an evening of all things balayage, techniques, products, formulations and more!
On the panel were Artelier’s director of colour, Emma Taylor, and director of cutting, Andrew Deaconos. Emma Is a true colour specialist with over 15 years’ experience and colour expertise, as well as holding the prestigious Loreal Colour Specialist qualification. Andrew has also been an integral part of British hairdressing for 15 years, having worked on many amazing photo shoots for well known brands and magazines, bringing fresh and innovative cutting and styling skills to everything he works on.
Jack and Harriet, who hosted the ‘Foil It or Paint It’ event know exactly what is locally relevant, but they also educate internationally from the United States, India to across Europe, bringing guests at the event a truly global level of expertise. As facilitators both are relatable, knowledgeable and practically grounded in the everyday realities of the salon floor.
The evening saw 25 models with incredible live demos and so many insights and tips for hair stylists including techniques demonstrated for any age, any hair type and any hair colour. Guests learned how to colour in a unique way, use foils, freehand, blend and gloss to create flawless results.
Emma and Andrew were honoured to take part in the event and be on stage with some of the best educators within the industry, talking all things salon, trends and the importance of what keeps our industry thriving.
