We were delighted to hear from Milly, an inspirational and beautiful young lady who was determined to do something kind and helpful to support another child who has to face the prospect of losing her hair during medical treatment!

Milly, from Ainsdale, is 10 years old and has been growing her hair since she was born. After hearing about The Little Princess Trust and the special work that they do to help children who are losing their hair whilst they undergo medical treatment, Milly was keen to donate a large amount of it to help another child. She has a heart of gold, and although loves her hair, is determined if she can do something to help another child she must. On the 21st Feb she visited Artelier so that Andrew could chop away over 12″-14″ of her hair.
Not only did Milly want to provide her hair, but she also wants to fundraise for the additional money required to make her hair into a wig. She spoke to the trust and has established that it costs £550 to make the wig from the donated hair and she is now on a mission to raise this money too. We appreciate times are difficult for many right now and we are grateful for any help to raise any monies, which will be used to make a wig from Milly’s hair for another child.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, The Little Princess Trust is there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity.
We’re sure that you will agree that Milly is a special young lady with a gorgeous heart – her hair make over looks amazing and we hope you will join us in congratulating her in her fundraising efforts. If you would like to make a donation to Milly’s Just Giving Page, then please click this link.

The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. They receive no formal funding. Please help Milly to raise money for them so that they can help more families.
