The British Hairdressing Business Awards are one of the most anticipated annual dates in the diary for hairdressers, salons and hairdressing royalty in the UK. You can only imagine the emotions when Emma & Andrew received the news that Artelier is up for not one but two awards in 2020’s BHBA’s.
Our baby, our amazing hair salon in Formby and our fabulous Artelier Team have been recognised as one of only 7 salons in the UK in two separate categories! To be named as a finalist in the BHBA’s Customer Service Salon Of The Year is just unreal and an absolute testament to the hard work and dedication of our whole team, from the moment that our guests walk through the door they are greeted by our receptionist, they are cared for by our assistants and then of course they spend their journey with our hairdressers. Delivering Hairdressing excellence is in our DNA, from the very first time we meet a prospective team member we drill into them the importance of client experience and we consistently assess and develop this area of our business.

Salon Of The Year 2020 – wow! We submitted an entry that is judged by some of the biggest names and business owners in British Hairdressing and they analyse the systems and strategies that we have in place to manage our team, care for our clients and market our business. They assess our relationship with the local community & other local businesses, our presence online and of course they begin to understand our suppliers and our brand ethos and values. Andrew and Emma are absolutely thrilled to learn that Artelier is one of only 7 UK salons recognized in this category!

‘The British Hairdressing Business Awards are the creme de la creme of British hairdressing and are highly respected worldwide. It was beyond our wildest dreams to have been recognised in such prolific awards and to be in a line up with such an elite group of hair salons! We can’t begin to tell you how much it means to be finalists in one category, never mind two’ explains Andrew
Andrew’s co director Emma Taylor continues ‘It’s been a tough year for our industry and of course this has affected our salon too. The euphoria that has come with getting to the finals of these awards is amazing. This has really lifted the spirits of our team and of course myself and Andrew when we most needed it! We need to say an enormous thank you for Hairdressers Journal for organising the awards and we must take this opportunity to tell our salon guests just how much they mean to us all. Without our amazing clients and local community this would have never been possible – we are extremely lucky to have your support & loyalty and blessed to have your wonderful personalities adding to the happy atmosphere in our salon’.
