The warmest February day since records began over 100 years ago with sunshine sparkling in through the windows – as the great British weather warms up, we need to start preparing for the sunshine season. Getting our hair, in tip-top condition for this tricky transitional period will encourage a summer of silky, shiny, lustrous locks.
The super-talented Rania and Julie at @thelittledelicrosby have chosen the Smashing Avo Recipe as their hair-superfood inspiration for March. Whether you want fabulous hair for the Grand National, you’re wanting your locks in great condition for a pre-summer getaway or you simply want to feed your hair and body with nourishment, this scrumptious brunch is seriously delicious.
SMASHING AVO RECIPE

Juice of a lime
Seasoning
2 Toast (of your choice… we love sourdough!!)

Chilli Flakes
3 Rashers of Parma Ham
Method
Pop your oven on to 180oC, put Parma ham on a grease-proof tray and put your toms in a small ovenproof dish. Season well!! Put them both in the oven for about 6 mins
Pop your eggs on to boil… 5 mins for soft
Put bread in toaster… carefully cut Avo in half, scoop out stone then scoop avocado into a dish, season, add a squeeze of lime and chilli flakes, spread onto toast, take your Parma and tomatoes from oven, peel your egg, pop on a plate with some delicious, mineral-rich greens!!
HOW WILL THIS LUSTIFY MY LOCKS?
Well… We have chosen this recipe, as it is one of our favourites in the deli. We know how oil and nutrient rich avocados are… making sure our scalp is healthy and allows our hair to grow healthy and well. Parma ham is our bacon equivalent, just with less fat and all of the flavour. It contains amino acids, the building blocks for protein in our body, and we all know keratin is essential for healthy, strong hair. The biggest keratin boost though comes from the little egg; also a powerhouse of both biotin and protein, essential for hair health and growth. They are a great source of zinc and selenium, which helps protect our bodies from free radicals and therefore preventing hair loss.
Please enjoy, and you try it at home please tag us and Artelier on instagram… we would love to see your creations!!
